is kinda boring, Noboru is an insecure boy with childlike attitude, what’s expected, and hypermasculine views of the world drives this boy through an conservative and corrosive mindset

I like his mother, she’s an amazing and solid character, and the sailor, who I forgot the name, is an anchor for this childish thinking of the boy

however this reading has been very much preachy
