So far I don’t like this as much as the Thursday Murder Club, I don’t think I’ll be reading book 2 from this series. It’s very similar but in my opinion is too similar and not its own thing enough for me to want to read another.
It explores similar themes like retirement, grief and getting older. I feel like more could be developed for the main characters. They don’t stand out to me compared to the TMC
