I figured out what draws me to this series. It's the disappearing art of the hero in a modern world. It reminds me of gunslingers in The Dark Tower series in a way. Different stories and circumstances, but the same vibe. 🖤

The cover caught my eye. They're gorgeous books. And the story is captivating. If you enjoy modern takes on folk retellings, you'll enjoy these books!
