I usually enjoy a good magical fantasy book, but not this one. I didn't even finish. If you are a committed liberal who hates guns, loves socialism, and think all of the world's ills come from those pesky Christians, then you will love this book. If you are done having politics be the only foundation for stories, then skip this.
