I love every time I get a glimpse of Ilya and Shane throughout these books but this? This broke my heart because I’ve already read TLG and I know how lonely Ilya feels and it just fucking sucks that he’s trying to reach out the way he knows how and people don’t see it. My poor gruff Russian menace

Like DUDE Ilya clocking in 0.5 seconds what’s up with Eric when Scott hasn’t noticed suit in years??? And him trying so hard to be an ally and connecting but also utterly terrified of doing so… someone sedate me (also yes Eric is hella cute but I’m stuck on Ilya sorry not sorry)
