How are you liking it Scott? Kinda curious about it

Sorry I missed this! I’m liking it, though it’s dragging a bit in the middle. Beautifully written, but it definitely puts the “history” in historical fiction. The narrative sections are great; the more historical sections are interesting but not as compelling, for me at least. I read and loved “Song of Achilles” earlier this month, which I felt balanced the “history” and “fiction” perfectly.
