I do want to know what happens. And it is still so so beautifully written.

It's just the themes and characters are not for me. But that's not the book's fault.

It's weird how I am having such a difficult time getting into it. The writing style is as beautiful as ever, and I am intrigued where this will go, but I don't really... care? I think I just don't enjoy the topics and themes here. My problem might be that a child is at the center of the story. And quite a difficult one, too...
