plotlines have come together so it isn't as messy or confusing, but I do wish the narrative were easier to follow in general because there is still a lot of skipping around

I am so torn on this series. On the one hand, I really like the setting, the characters, and the artwork. On the other, I find the jumps in storytelling very confusing and more than once I had to refer to the character tree to figure out who was who. By the time we get to the second section (not named as a chapter), I am well and truly mixed up with all the jumps in location, scene, etc.
