Now we’re playing a game of basically “what does everyone like about Holland?” Just ugh. Show who she is don’t tell.

About halfway done. Still just feels awkward, cringey, and meh. The MMC is ok but I feel like I don’t KNOW either character halfway through the book. The FMC seems totally lost and unable to help herself, stand up for herself, take care of herself, etc and I don’t respect a single character in this book so far including the side characters.

So far I’m a bit sketched out that she’s married this dude she’s literally spoken to a handful of times - none of them without deep meaning.

They don’t seem to have any chemistry or deep connection, which I’m hoping will change soon.
