So the Muslim brotherhood (organization or a movement) were against the British occupation and guess what. They got banned :)

He’s talking about Islam and modernity being incompatible but that’s first of all incorrect…second I believe that kind of foreshadows his future extremist ideas (roots of his beliefs shown here kinda)
From what I can see so far he was not just disagreeing with western ideas he’s fully rejecting em (black n white thinking)
