I have to call it here - this series does not feel like it was written by the same author as the Poplar Falls series.
Between the ridiculous comments Erin makes, the “not like other girls”, Maxi saying single moms are less desirable, calling other girls bitches and sluts and sudden juvenile writing. I just can’t. I’ll move on to her new series and see if I connect better to that.
