I have an amazing feeling about this book already.
* The whole African family dynamic thing where a sibling feels wholely indepted to their sibling or extended family at the detriment of their immediately family is dangerous.
* I feel like Eli's family do not like his legitimate wife because she wouldn't conform to their bizarre demands, so they thought "let us replace her with someone we can control" hmm....
