PT. 1 | There's a romantic moment in the restaurant where Edward notices that Bella is shivering (from drinking her Coca-Cola too quickly) and chivalrously gives her his leather jacket. The leather jacket, it turns out, is unfortunately light beige and Edward is wearing an ivory turtleneck underneath.

This is, quite frankly, an outfit that one might wear on the prairie, not to go visit a bunch of purportedly fashion-forward vampires. When Bella descends her stairs in this masterpiece of an outfit, Edward, who has probably caught just a glimpse of her ankle, tells her that she looks "utterly indecent."

Alec, as he burned, wanted nothing more than to escape the pain, and his vampire talent is the ability to deprive people of all of their physical senses.

PT. 1 | Both of the twins were literally burning alive by the time Aro arrived and was able to stop the execution and take the now twelve-year-old twins for himself. This excruciating experience of burning alive informed how both twins manifested their psychic talents as vampires.

Okay wait, I completely forgot Marcus got with Aro’s sister. And that Aro turned his sister to “have an ally,” but ultimately killed her when it threatened his relationship with Marcus. Messed. Up.
