How is this so far!

Really enjoyed the first couple of chapters! Just finished reading the chapter about troubadours which I personally feel was a bit far-fetched as Warner’s main focus ended up being about the Church’s emphasis on monogamy and some good stuff about women’s inheritances giving them some power during the Middle Ages. Idk, the troubadour connection was dropped towards the end of the chapter so I feel that was a miss, but overall I think it’s a 3.5 star read for me so far
