christie has always been a master storyteller for me in this regard, how the murder is put across and the police introduced! loving the subtle post-war commentary elements to it but simply, i’m SO intrigued by this concept because… who is this man?? how did he die??

i loveeee how she introduces the characters with this one, we learn just enough, and i love her characterisation too! definitely one of her best frameworks for the murder plot!
