So I don’t LOVE how Quentin thinks about women, but I do think this is, at least so far, one of the best depictions of depression I’ve read in a while. Quentin does everything ‘right’ and it still doesn’t work, the anticlimactic feeling even when he has worked really hard, etc. I also like how we know that Fillory is a coping mechanism, but we also know that it’s not necessarily good for Quentin.
