so far, would you recommend reading the book first or watching the movie?

For everything, I would always say read the book. But I didn’t watch the movie, I can’t speak on it. I can only make inferences so far from what I’ve seen the director say and the promotional material and it seems to me that it’s likely a highly selective movie in terms of what parts of the story it chooses to incorporate as well as that it probably changes a lot of how things are portrayed in the book. But again, I haven’t watched it. It’s just that the things the director has said about this story seem… kinda ridiculous and at odds even with what I’m actually reading
