I'm IMMERSED & INTRIGUED. This trilogy was highly recommended to me by my husband who gifted me the whole series. I wanted a circuit breaker from my favorite genre of gothic romance/dark fantasy lately & this is DELIVERING. I love the simple, direct, yet immersive writing style and storytelling & am only 1/4 of the way in but this multi-layered, intricately plotted, & richly detailed world has completely grasped me.
