It feels too late to dnf this book and its not that it’s generally bad. It’s just not something special.
I understand some of the negative reviews.

So the German Edition works much better. Seems like it really was something about the writing stile that gave me the ick.

I just can’t finish this. No clue why the writing is unreadable for me. I know it’s a “me” issue.
For now I will pause it and try to get the german translation from my library. Maybe the translation won’t be the same.

Something about the writing makes this a slower reading book to me. At least for now.
