I kept seeing this at all the indie bookstores. What was the issue with it?

The FMC isn't likeable. You don't want to root for her. There is basically only one character I even remotely cared for and it was a minor character.
Sometimes DNFing is self-care 💕 hope the next one is an instant hit 🤞🏻✨️
