This book is a veryyyyyyyyyyyyy slow burn. No romance as of yet and in general it’s more leading up to the main plot. It is a good book but sometimes it is too slow that it isn’t as captivating as I thought it would be. I do enjoy the hidden identities aspect of it and the magic so far. Ok now I’m getting to the point where I keep wanting to read one more chapter one more chapter. Literally had to stop rn and try to sleep because I only have 100 pages left !!! Book 2 isn’t even out yet!! I do feel bad for brevan though turns out I just needed a bit more romance. And this is more where the book is picking up and I am sad it’s ending
