There’s a disgusting amount of animal death/cruelty in this book. It’s mentioned as if it’s nothing and then the story just moves on. Everyone in this book is detached from everything. I want someone to feel something before the end.

Is there a plot, or does Clay just wander around doing drugs and watching people do drugs?
