don't mind me just reading my signed copy of this book! learned more about burma in these 70 pages than i did in the 22 years prior. jinnah and gandhi are prime examples of how historical figures change over their lives and can't be viewed as a representation of one distinct ideology. the link of imperialism and nazism to these lands is fascinating, shocking, and deeply upsetting.
