How do these reporters know immediately who Lament is? It was established at the start of the book that his face isn’t publicized at all, so how do random ass people instantly recognize him? 🧐

We have the Determinists and now the Randomists and the mystery of how Bast died and what the mist could be… There’s so much going on but we aren’t truly focusing on anything so it kinda feels like we’re meandering, ngl.
