Okay, okay, okay... I needed a break and some time to align my mind when I realised this was not a romance or a fluffy fantasy. I think it is REALLY important that people know this is NOT a romance before they start. I had to take off my romantasy glasses and wrap my mind around the story and characters before I was ready to try this again.

Yeah, no. Putting a pause on this. So many glowing reviews and I'm understanding, but not feeling. Going to give a break in case it's a mood thing.
