the depiction of misogyny and femicidal torture is so gratuitous it almost seems like it comes from a place of sadism

I'm gonna be honest: the way the creatures of the forest use the same language indigenous americans use to describe the theft of their land by settlers, while the same indigenous people are being depicted as violators of the land ON PAR with settlers who GENOCIDED them irl, is really pissing me off bad. you can tell this was written by a descendant of settlers.
