This book is such a panacea for all of the horrible Ballerina Farm and Instagram Trad Wide content we are all inundated with. Francesca had a life as a teacher in Italy before the war and comes to Wintero IA as a war bride and basically spends decades languishing in the mediocrity and close mindedness of small town life. She says being a High school English teacher was hard but a full time farm wife is worse
