300+ pages in and it’s not good. I heard the audiobook is better since Viola herself is reading it so I may give it a try and let it be my first audiobook.

Extremely slow, so I hope it’s building up to something because the synopsis drew me in, but the story is bland right now. Most of the story so far is told from the judge’s POV, and it’s boring.
I just know Reverend Erskine’s ass is guilty, but let me slow my assumptions down. Starla Jones, needs her ass whooped, and Cocheta has some nerve turning on Dr. Gaines. You brought Nova to her for the abortion.
