I really liked the illustrations embedded throughout the book giving it a heightened whimsy feeling! Every time Carden talks about his brother’s abuse it just makes me cringe and then now this book with the details of Nicasia and Locke cheating ughhhh but I loved the pic of Cardan choking him.
The repeating changing story was interesting. And I’m a slut for cardens one linersss
