She was lucky to have Billy and grateful to him, but she knew she'd never feel for him the intense passion she'd had for Ray. Maybe friendship was more important in the long run for a long, happy marriage. She wasn't sure. Rather than dwell on it any more, she leaned in and kissed Billy again.
