"ladies are only admitted to the library if accompanied by a Fellow of the College or furnished with a letter of introduction" - what the actual fuck!
this makes me so grateful to live in this day and age where with a library card a woman can download whatever she would like to read without having money or even leaving the house (or needing a man to give the okay for it!)
