Elyse Clever. I read this a while ago and I don’t remember his obsession with the number 13. I already gave away my copy so now I can’t go look at it.

It was the thirteen letters in "Woodrow Wilson," his becoming Princeton's 13th president in his 13th year there, his inauguration in 1913, and his landing for the Paris conference on December 13th.
