WOAH THE WAY IT UNFOLDED!!! THERES nothing I love more than a perfect emotional transition through different events in a story, I cannot believe this is just one book, it all feels enough to educate you on the past and present. This is too good

Holy moly I love this so so much. I cannot get over Mamoru’s conversation with his mom, that hesitation to speak truth and be honest.
I love the struggle to come to terms w propaganda and how nationalism plays such a huge roll in this book.
I LOVE the development and the direction the story is going but now I’m getting nervous for what’s to come

Discovered the glossary today, life is so worth living.
Also misaki’s past omg. I want to be a warrior so fucking bad, I hate how she gave up so much of herself for her parents basically…. Either way i hope she gets her freedom so far she’s my fave character so far
