I do find the contrast between Elzar Mann and Mace Windu so funny.

Elzar had a moment of weakness where he let his emotions control him in the Republic Fair Raid. Then, he decided to go to Orla for guidance and limited his access to the Force until he saw the fruits of such guidance.

Now Mace Windu is killing people left and right, letting his emotions take over him and he seemingly doesn't grow beyond this.
