Father Brown is harder to follow sometimes than Agatha Christie, the first adventure spent following a seemingly weird sequence of events to find an apparently dimwitted priest actually outsmarted a world class criminal, the next adventure spent on the curious case of beheadings leading to one of the oddest conclusions I’ve read.
