I did not finish this book..I was eager to read it as people I knew really rated it but I could not get into it at all. There are 3 stories running through the book and this makes it very disjointed. I didn't become interested in any of the characters and although the writing is beautiful I felt the author was trying to be too clever.
Disappointing

I am struggling to finish this book so I am abandoning it for now. I find the narratives for the separate story lines are too far apart to follow properly and I am not engaging with any of the characters. I am disappointed after hearing people raving about this book.

Finding it hard going

Finding it hard going. Not gripped yet
