I accidentally became important at work and it's seriously interfering with my reading time.

- This is what I mean. So petty.

On the one hand it breaks my heart anytime the story shows how damn young Shang Xirui still is, on the other I'm amused at how fucking petty he can be.

He rubbed his belly and groaned. “It feels like I’m six months pregnant.”
Cheng Fengtai nearly choked on his tea. “Don’t worry. I haven’t planted anything yet.”
Shang Xirui stared. “What did you just say?”

Lmao.

Cheng Fengtai thought grimly, First General Zhang, now Commander Cao… Every time he sings from a rooftop, a warlord falls.
