The main help this book provides to me is that it is relateable. I am diagnosed at 50 and struggle to get information and medical advice that is not addressed to toddlers and young children.

This was helpful from many tangents. I don’t want to use autism as an excuse for my actions but when I am dealing with a world that does not accommodate, it comes up often.
This book gives me some grace on that issue.

I love this book. As an adult diagnosed in my 50s it is rare to find materials that speak directly to me. I wish I knew about it earlier in life.

I didn’t mean to get this book. It was sitting on a shelf at the library and caught my eye.
I relate well as a late diagnosed adult. I would say most info available relates to parents raising an autistic toddler. So, this was very helpful.
