I’m doing the audiobook because I found the book on CD unopened for cheap at a thrift store. Haven’t read a Shreve book before and after this might never do so again. Genuinely I have never DNF’d a book because I always think it might get better after ‘a few more chapters’ but this may actually be the first book I ever DNF
