I didn’t finish this book. I thought incorrectly that this was a collection of short stories of horror. Turns out it is a critical history of gothic novels and the truth behind them. Not what I was looking for. The one story I read was well researched and I don’t want to say anything negative. I just need to pay attention to book covers beyond titles.
