We are forgiving the massacre of almost an entire population because the sharks didn’t kill her??
I mean really?
I’ll take it because I live Lara and I wanted her to be Queen but really?

I still don’t see how Lara can redeem herself.
Unless she martyrs herself which surely she won’t. (No author is dumb enough to do that since Allegiant… right??)

A really huge act of heroism still doesn’t negate the fact that she put them in that position anyway.

Boy oh boy how the hell is Lara going to end up okay.

It’s go time

I’ve been out so I had to stop reading, and while I was out, all I could think about was how this book is going to pan out.
Obviously Lara is going to save Aren, and they will make amends and love each other again, but I worry about their status. He could easily return to being king, but how on earth would Lara be accepted back. I want the absolute best for her, and not a lack lister ending (like Shadow and Bone)

If one of those sisters die I’m gonna riot

Sarhina is gonna either die, or lose the baby.

How long do I have to wait for my reunion though…

Usually I don’t like waiting (Sythe, chaos walking, wrath and the dawn, etc) when they separate the two main characters, but I’m actually okay with it so far? Maybe because I get about 3 pages of each perspective, and I’m low key nervous about Aren reconnecting with Lara
