something new has been added to the plot, that has ✨potential✨ to make the book a LOT better, i swear if the author messes up now, I am going to stare at the (gorgeous) cover of this book and contemplate ways of destroying it ( I won't cause, it's paperback and expensive)

girly, it's the prince's father and mother who do all those terrible acts you just listed. he's still a teen, why are you so hellbent on murdering him 😒 Like, chill, at least a little. You've never even met the guy. Also, all that fancy talk about you being a pirate, but so far, you've mostly been on land.

So far, the story is fairly good. I'm hoping the world gets more developed over time, and am excited to see how this will advance.
THERE'S ALSO PARENTS WHO ARE GOOD, AND DON'T MIND BEING OUTCASTS IN SOCIETY, TO BE BETTER PEOPLE 🥹🥹 i swear if the author turns them all of a sudden evil, i am going to break this book and contact my lawyer, because I'll be suing them
