genuinely thought it was going to go unaddressed because that was a few pages down the line
Yeah, but the whole scene of her feeling a bit bad, then comforting herself when her bf laughs only to get brought back to reality is a really good showcase of assuaging one's guilt and how powerful outside approval and disapproval are
that's a good point yeah
