Daphne is beyond annoying. I have no clue why they make female characters in books so annoying and helpless.
Every guy her age she’s falling for or clinging to.
I understand she has trauma but she is scared of everything unless there’s a man there to coddle her or comfort her while she complains and whines.
Why would her parents send a teenage boy to go “save”their daughter instead of going themselves?
