ik a lot of ppl didn't like it, but I LOVED IT
there wasn't a lot of romance tho until the end kind of, it was more the fmc finding herself, so I don't think someone would enjoy it if theyre going in expecting something like the first one, but it's rly good

I love stories that are in diff countries or the characters are a diff ethnicity than me (hence why I like Asian books cos I can see their culture yk?)

especially when the author has done their research and we get little interesting tidbits that don't just go with stereotypes or when the author actually is that ethnicity - the only asian books I've read are most of Ann Liang's and one by Grace Lin, I can't think of the title rn
