A little slow starting out… but I think I’m getting to the meat of the juice.
“In the British Navy, seamen stopped being paid after their ship was decommissioned, and, as two of the castaways argued, the loss of the Wager meant that for most of them, their earnings had likely ceased: they were suffering for nothing.
