The first two short stories were good. One, “Jerusalem’s Lot”, was a follow-up to an earlier novel of his, giving a glimpse of what happened to the town in the story. The second, “Graveyard Shift”, was … interesting. Creepy basement of an abandoned building vibes. Currently on the third story, “Night Surf”, and it’s giving “Lord of the Flies”.
