Update for my thoughts:
-some illustrations or structures do not appear or are mentioned without former context. For example, an image is “shown below/above” but is not in its respective page. The Hieroglyphic Stairs at Copan are another example. It was mentioned abruptly without being mentioned previously.
-Some terms are not explained, which ruins the flow of reading. Especially the architectural jargon.
