I’m such a simp for Ali & Nahri. Please let it be that during the war for once Munthadhir does an heroic act and dies, so does Ghassan, the whole city burns down, and they both rebuild it in gold and kindness.

I am obsessed to the bone with this world building. It is intoxicatingly good and well written, so detailed and I love how we keep on discovering so much about it.
However, 200 pages out of 500 and you have to throw your girl a bone, everyone is so sad and traumatized, at least give me 15% of happiness to hold on to the rest of the political plot😭😭
