I’m struggling to pick this up a bit. Not because I am uninterested but more because my season of life is changing. It’s taking me longer to read. I am picking it up less often than normal and have limited time to read. So far it’s like the first book a bit wordy with descriptions that seems a little unnecessary, or longer than necessary I should add. But I am still wanting to find out what happens.

Slow slow going. I’m close to putting this down and not finishing it. I’ve had to do some skimming. Like why is there three whole pages talking about how they construct a boat and another three pages describing the boat floating. And like ayla gets turned on by horses mating lol. I get she’s lonely but goodness gracious. Just trying to get to the part where Ayla finds someone of her kind if I can. We will see.
